I live in Maryland inside the Beltway with my wonderful partner, Kathleen. I’m 32 years old. I like running, reading history, intelligence, geopolitics, and food. Lately I’ve become more interested in social discourse.

I’m in the Navy. I joined because I wanted to solve political problems with technical means. I found my way to defense acquisition which is a good fit. My primary role is Contracting Officer’s Representative, which ensures contractor performance as part of the government acquisition team. Day to day, I write acquisition plans, engage stakeholders, and go to bat for my contractors. It feels like herding cats.

I’m here for three reasons. First, I wanted to learn to organize my thoughts. Second, I wanted to relieve my friends from tired sea stories. Lastly, I think it will help me enjoy the journey. Expect more pages and topics as I write more!
